The
1st FINA World Seminar on Sports Management, Media and Marketing closed its
three-day discussion on March 31, 2001 at the Palau de Congressos in Barcelona,
Spain. “It was incredible”, said FINA President Mustapha Larfaoui
during his closing speech, taking the basic promotional message of the 10th
FINA World Swimming Championships, that will also take place in Barcelona in
2003.
The
Speedo Fastskin suit made its debut nearly two years ago, but its real impact
was during the Sydney Olympics. Now it's available to consumers, and top swimmer
Alex Kostich takes the suit out for a few laps.
